Gem, the opening track of our debut-EP, is a song I wrote for dear my friend, Gem. Gem and I spent the formative years of our friendship at UCLA practicing yoga, meditating and raving together. Our paths since then have unfortunately pulled us to geographic locations far from each other. But every time we do see each other now, we cherish the experience to the fullest. “Gem” is not only an expression of unconditional love to my friend, Gem, but also to everyone who is held as beloved in someone’s heart, especially during these difficult times of isolation. My wish is that this song can bring healing love energy into your heart. You are loved <3
